<did you say Marines?>

Well, no. I said "marine." Referring to the ~25 yrs. I've got
in beating myself against the North Pacific Ocean and/or the
boats that go out on it to chase various swimmers and sea-bottom
crawlers. (Also a trip from your corner to mine thru the Panama
Canal.)

I know what you're talking about with the thoughts on getting your
hands dirty. There's something happens in those pursuits that's very
tough to communicate verbally; satisfying and meaningful beyond
description, kind of let's one look right through those that scorn
or shun it, and see someone whose missing part of the picture...

I wonder, should there be a reasonably gnarly pick-up in EXSO's
lot, if your sister could get close enough to detect any aromas?
Turnips? Bottom fish?? Moldy old debentures? Hmmm.

Hope there's more news, I'll probably hold 'til my chest pains
go away, anyway.

Got to go. Two 16 hole EMD engines to start rebuilding today.
This hands dirty crap may be satisfying, but if I never pulled
on a chain fall again, I'd probably not miss the sensation for
very long!

Ol' Used-But-Used.
