That was for people who are selling because they think they see a top. I wouldn't sell my shares if I was so assured it was going down. I'd sell a covered call first, and close it right away if it went up.

Selling shares is a total loss if you guessed wrong and Uncle Sam becomes your best friend. So I'd take my chances with the calls, only if I was totally convinced of a downside, before I would sell any shares.

First of all, when a stock is in an uptrend, like this one is, with Moving Averages cross-overs going on, I wouldn't do either. But it beats selling.
