What would have happened would have been that President Donald Trump would have, FIRST OF ALL, been prepared TO SIT DOWN with President Vladimir Putin and listened to what Vladimir Putin had to say about why Russia "had a problem" with the current "government" in Ukraine. Right on! The other thing that Trump did and knew was the effect of the the price of oil on the Russian economy and Russian military buildup and expansion. KT McFarland brought this up the other night on the Gutfield show. Under Trump the price of oil collapsed. Russia was broke. Trump had special meetings with Mexico and Canada and Russia to prop up the price of a barrel of oil so that Russia would not start a war to push it up. Trump kept oil just high enough to let American companies make a good profit but keep Russia from rebuilding their military might and invade more countries, as they did Under bumbling Biden and Obama. The same thing happened for Crimea and Chechnia.
