Respond to of 455709 Don Surber's take on why the Republican's pursued Ketanji's child sex abuse records, even though they know she's going to be affirmed: Don Surber: Be the party that protects kids Mike Cernovich tweeted, "The blows on KBJ won’t stop her confirmation, that was never an option, but the hits landed on Democrats and they are all on record defending low sentences in pedo cases. Unbelievable. Huge needle mover by Josh Hawley." That's true. Senator Josh Hawley's questions about her light sentences on pedophiles have raised the public's conscience about just how awful Judge Ketanji Jackson is. Hawley brought to light her three-month sentence given to a pedophile when federal guidelines said 10 years and prosecutors asked for 2. The Daily Mail reported , "Wesley Hawkins, six years later, has not given up on his sick infatuation with children, according to records shared with the Washington Post." Also, Jackson's unwillingness or inability to define what a woman is would have gotten her laughed off the stage if Johnny Carson or Jay Leno were on late-night TV. We see her for who she is. Kiddie Porn Ketanji . The content of her character should send her back to Gitmo defending terrorists. America's children are under attack by creeping socialism and just plain creeps. The covid tyrants and teachers unions have forced schools to close for interminable periods of time. When schools re-open, these monsters then demand the children wear masks that do nothing to stop the spread of a virus but do everything to retard the development of socialization skills for a generation of kids. That is, of course, the goal. With Democrats, there are no unintended consequences. The results you see are the results they wanted. Democrats live to wreck and ruin because they believe that is the path to rule. The situation is far from hopeless. Zoom brought home just how demented public education is. Parents suddenly see Critical Race Theory promoted in the classroom. Its goal is to spread white guilt and black supremacy. Its defenders say it is really only taught in college. Perhaps that is true, but those college graduates become teachers and unleash a watered down CRT. The prejudice is always there. But it is the sexualization of children that is most disturbing. When a transvestite boy (mislabeled as transgender) raped a girl in the girl's bathroom in Virginia, the victim's dad raised the issue at a school board meeting. The school board was so shocked that it had the father wrestled to the ground and arrested for trespassing. At a public meeting. That incident, however, sparked a parental rebellion that led to the election of a Republican governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general, marking the first time Republicans held those top three offices in Virginia. Light sentences for pedos have consequences. The McGraw family of Darrell and Warren was a darling of the powerful liberal wing of West Virginia's Democrat Party. For a time, one was on the state Supreme Court while the other was the Senate president. Then one was attorney general and the other on the Supreme Court. They were both highly intelligent, articulate and nuttier than an almond grove. From 1932 to 2004, Democrats had won every single Supreme Court race except one. Over the years they had won 87 of 88 races. That changed when Don Blankenship, CEO of Massey Coal, decided to bounce Warren McGraw from the court. He spent $3 million running ads publicizing McGraw's decision to give a child molester of multiple victims probation. This elected Republican Brent Benjamin to the court. He refused to recuse himself from Caperton v. Massey in a ruling that sent the case to Virginia. The U.S. Supreme Court ordered the case to be heard again without Benjamin. The ruling was the same. He served one 12-year term but he paved the way for other Republicans to get on the court. Other Republican justices followed. Maybe we can dismiss this development as happening 18 years ago in a small state. But protecting kids is a winner in Florida. Don Surber: Be the party that protects kids
