Perhaps EMC's only real option with respect to a switched fibre channel solution is to purchase a switch maker in the event that the McData engineers cannot provide a product with performance approximating the MKII and the Silkworm.

Roger, I think that IBM's owning of ANCR shares has more to do with ANCR's using IBM's fiber optic transceivers: in other words, ANCR is OEMing IBM's transcievers, and the IBM shares may be considered as venture capital since they were bought early on in the relationship. Any other opinions?

ANCR had another welcome uptick today, considering all my other "specs" are down for the day.
