How can book value go down as long as EPS are positive?

I had written: [If and how much they collect may go a long way toward
helping them avoid "burning through their book value."
If it continues to balloon and they have to write it off,
then "Poof! goes the book"] That's a big way. Of course,
the increasing AR doesn't hurt book in itself, and cash used for capital expense doesn't hurt book value either, as it is just
an asset moved down the balance sheet.

how has net working capital been so
negative with a secondary stock offering

I never said it was negative - I just said that the working
capital requirement was high.

Good Investing,
Mike

Well men -- Joe Kernan of CNBC just announced the opening indication for SFAM is $22, a number several of you almost pegged over the weekend. Impressive predicting. Now what is the feeling for the rest of the week, up or down.
