I’d argue the Speaker (as demonstrated by Pelosi’s locking up Jan 6th protesters, 2 impeachments & year legal harassment of #45, is more powerful than the POTUS.

Maybe we will find out soon.

We can debate on whether this is a demotion later.......If someone can rein in one of three legislative bodies, <for a start> and if you can argue that the House is legislatively most important but the most corrupt since it is supposed to speak for the people, then the House plus the Presidency should be able to hamstring the Senate.......It all really boils down to redemption in the unelected Deep State.
