One thing I learned about working with people with giant egos - doesn't matter what you first propose, no matter how good it is. They want the credit, so to get it done, you have to wait until they come around to thinking that the whole thing was their idea in the first place. Sometimes, they'll even tack on some improvements just to drive their point home, but the process always takes longer than it should.

Interesting…. Greenwald mentions security guarantees as if it’s not a big deal. To me, it seems a VERY big deal. It means that if in the future there is a conflict between Ukraine and Russia - NATO member nations will get involved - and the entire world is in danger. (And things can happen - look how they disregarded the Minsk accords).

Sounds like a potentially explosive situation - forever. But, maybe I’m missing something, and they can structure it in a way that may work? I don’t see how, but… we shall see. It’s not our decision.
