There's no question that Joe 6 Pack will blame inflation on the Dems, whether rightly or wrongly, forgetting about the stimulus packages passed under the Trump administration. Pick your poison. If Dems win control, deficits increase with massive social spending. If Republicans win control, deficits increase with big tax cuts. That's why I prefer split rule, where each side knocks their heads up against each other, getting nowhere for the most part.
