Rarebird, We have reached herd immunity, whereas those Dumbos in China keep on making the same mistake over and over again thinking you can get rid of the virus through lockdowns. They're now in a tough spot of their own making. If they loosen up on the lockdowns, they'll suffer an explosion of cases that would overwhelm their (or any) health care system. The idea was to get their population immunized before lifting lockdown. As of this year, 90% got vaccinated. But surprise surprise, the Chinese vaccines suck, and there's no way on Earth that Omicron Jinping will admit that. Gonna be interesting to watch as China now has to choose between continued lockdowns or "nAtUrAl iMmUnItY" like Modi forced upon India. Tenchusatsu
