OTOH, with the Russian pullback and regrouping going on, the US and allies (if any) can flood western Ukraine with supplies and weapons. Of course, the Russians also know this, so are they drawing NATO deeper into the conflict so that they can expand their use of tactical nukes and chemical?

The Russians are not dumb. Biden is.
