Germany stupidly shut down their nuclear energy industry.

For a short time that may be the answer, but long term it won't. Those who believe Russia launched the war to boost the credibility of the Russian ruble haven't thought long term.

Currency is about trust. Trusting in Russia after this naked display of aggression has just gone down the toilet.

Germany and others (even the greenies), will be rethinking their relationship with a mass murdering government.
