What role did you play in the book, if you don't mind me asking?

Paul,

I started reading the book from the beginning (I already peeked at the Penang chapter - you must have been thrilled). I don't have your alternate factual sources, but I noted (as an ex-CPA would) some simple math errors in his explanation of the AMD financing.

Specifically, he said that AMD needed $1.55 million by 5:00 and was stuck at $1,480,000 at 4:30 when they received a check for $25 thousand to put them over the top with $5 thousand to spare.

Now either they were stuck at $1,530,000 or the check was for $75,000. Whatever, it shows a problem with simple fact checking.

OTOH, its an interesting book, regardless of whether some of it may be historical fiction!!

:-)
