Pkrbkr,
Santa Clara County has been the most conservative relative to lockdowns/distancing/vaccinations in the country yet still has almost as many positive tests per day than the entire state of Ohio.
Where are you getting your numbers?

Ohio: Ohio COVID - Coronavirus Statistics - Worldometer (worldometers.info)

Santa Clara County: COVID-19 Cases and Deaths - Emergency Operations Center - County of Santa Clara (sccgov.org)

Ohio is currently hovering around the low hundreds. Santa Clara County is now in the high teens.

They now lead the world for infections yet have been incredibly conservative relative to the virus. Would love to hear your take...

Korea finally took the "F--k it" approach, like you mentioned. They're now 70% vaccinated, with a combination of the Astra-Zeneca vaccine and the Pfizer vaccine, which should minimize the number of hospitalizations and deaths, but they still have to deal with it now.

China will have to go through that, as I mentioned before: Message 33779767

By the way, India "got over it" very quickly. Prime Minister Modi was notorious for denying the severity of the pandemic, and as a result, India likely has three million deaths or more.

(Of course, India claims one of the "lowest" death rates in the world, and the WHO mysteriously backs up their claim. But everyone knows they have a HUGE number of deaths that went unreported. Same with Russia, China, and other nations that aren't being forthcoming with their numbers.)
