Good stuff there Terry but if India thinks that Russia and China are not serious racists then there will be a rude awakening for them. And whatever U.S. policies gave Putin concerns about the need for buffer states the fact is he has presided over the creation of a kleptocratic dictatorship from the outset based on his own twisted outlook of Russian history while forsaking the west's offer of free markets and rule of law all by his lonesome. When border states like Poland Estonia Latvia and Lithunia are happy to join Germany for protection, a country that previously invaded them and devastated them it has to tell you how much worse the Russians were in their invasions and occupations.. Yes I know Napolean and Hitler invaded Russia but that does not entitle them to abuse multiple countries that have no interest in invading Russia including Ukraine . The threat to Putin is freedom, his massing of troops against Nato nations is his fear of his own population's expectations, not Nato itself . Russia given its incredible strengths is a pitiful failure. One thing Covid exposed in Brazil was that the general population was not in sync with Bolsanero. India heading for a religious / theocratic dictatorship, the only redeeming factor is their courts are based on British law. The biggest worry is that the U.S. might actual prefer a dictator rather than a democratically elected government. The people abdicating the burden of discerning truth for a functioning democracy in order to accept lies so that someone will just direct their lives. Yucck
