Supporters of the brutal dictator that launched the invasion which has killed thousands can keep repeating they must win till they are blue in the face, reality will catch up to them. The existential threat is their inability to see the future of a more connected world, linked to western values of free speech and representative government. Russia could be embracing those same values and flourish, unfortunately their elite fear a loss of control and will take the country back to a bread line Marxist dictatorship instead. Sad that intellectuals can be so selfish and stupid, wrapped in their moralistic view of a convoluted nature of right and wrong.
