What happens in Ukraine is none of their business, despite the paranoid fantasies of their dear leader.

…….. Ukraine was no threat to Russia, anyone in the Kremlin who truly believes they were has a mental disorder.
Ukraine - even increasingly militant and armed to the teeth - perhaps wasn’t… yet. But Ukraine on the verge of becoming a member of NATO - was. That’s what they kept repeating for many years - that they will not allow it and it will cause a war.

NATO reply - screw them, they’re crazy. We do what we want.

The problem is - they have about 6000 nuclear devices and delivery systems - including the currently undefeatable rockets that go up to 20 times the speed of sound.

So, what does this suggest about NATO’s sanity? Do they care about you and me and our kids?
(Edit — which is, btw, what we are paying them for).

Murdering civilians is a connected behavior pattern
Just a few weeks ago, many were celebrating the brave civilians making Molotov cocktails and otherwise engaging in war. The line between soldier and civilian is far from clear in Ukraine. We do not now and probably never will know the full truth.
