Behavior should be criticized for what it is.

Looking the other way and pretending evil people are not doing evil things is worse, because it emboldens them to continue behaving that way.

The Russian army are acting dishonorably and evil.

They are being put on notice via the media.

Exposing injustice, hopefully will lead to better behavior, even if the war continues.

It doesn’t mean American troops should be in the battlefield.
It doesn’t mean NATO troops should be in the battlefield.

Hopefully, Russia sees the future and this war they launched will stigmatize the nation for years to come the longer it goes on. So, do what’s right, pull the army out and choose a negotiated cease fire then settlement.

If what they feared “Joining NATO” is truly why they invaded, Ukraine has already said multiple times they would accept those terms. They should accept, stop bombing and pull out.

Calling them out via the world media for brutality and crimes against humanity is one of the best ways to motivate them to end the violence. Looking the other way, ensures the slaughter goes on for years.

Silence is acceptance to Russian leaders.
