I encourage all Loral holders to revisit Orion. Go check out their press releases for the last couple of months. They are executing on their business plan in an impressive way. This was an excellent acquisition for Loral. New business includes internet connections for Asian ISP's, global distribution of the USA Today, pact with IDT, etc. A chart of internet traffic via satellite(available at www.spotbeam.com) shows how Orion is truly exploiting this opportunity. I conclude from all this that management's projections on revenues and utilization rates are ultra-conservative---so conservative, in fact, that they are completely wrong! This is another example of where the astute investor will cash in. Analysts and the Wall Street crowd that follows will only take the "corporate line" and regurgitate it with their own spin. True stock outperformance comes when a company exceeds expectations. An astute investor realizes that a company will outperform the "general expectations" and acts accordingly. So, act accordingly folks--spit on your copy The Efficient Market and start investing.
