the different sides amongst the 'deep state', unlike the 'normal state', are irreconcilable with each other at all... Have noted that, even in the conversations you see occurring re the "inevitable" impacts of Russian sanctions and the Russians constrained choices in context ... that have them talking past each other... You'll see one side presenting arguments assuming there is no other possible outcome than Russia succeeding quite promptly in making the Ruble into a "hard currency" backed by gold that everyone is thus going to be forced to use.... and will want to use because "gold backed"... all by next week... and that inevitably resulting in "ending the Fed" the week after ? And, on the other side, you see the pro-Davos clique gleefully rubbing their hands in the anticipation of Putin being forced... any minute now... into selling all of Russia's gold in order to hope to survive... Probably the most important part of that... is that without them even being aware of it... it is beginning to expose those divisions in the landscape that have been there all along... but have mostly been ignored by the media, and thus not presented to the public... And, those can't be hidden any more... as stark realities confront... wishful thinking... As that proceeds... it will begin to generate cognitive dissonance... which you can see growing already... even in the "I thought Democrats were supposed to be opposed to wars" type issues... As many in the Deep State... operate in a Deep Bubble... mostly unaware of other opinions, and mostly unconcerned by them if aware... as tends to occur in any one party system... they are increasingly insulated from reality by a controlled media feeding them their own propaganda. So, any event that brings them into sharper focus... in "real" context that they don't control... is likely to end up containing some big surprises for those who've been "successfully" misrepresenting themselves... A great example in Biden and the "Putin Price Hike at the Pump"... with those inside the Bubble thinking "they're stupid and will believe whatever we tell them"... making the point for me about how the failure of the "transitory" lie is a far more meaningful event than many will assume, even now... as we're now well past "fool me twice" ? It's not just that people don't believe Biden's stupid "Putin Price Hike"... as that is widely reported... its that what is not being reported... is that they also know its an flagrant attempt to lie to them, and exploit them... and THAT really pisses them off in a way that "Biden being clueless" doesn't... The new crop of Davos certified "adults in the room"... may be old enough... but, they're also stupid... It still seems to me that the theme meme for the 2020's will be... as was true in the WW I years... "be careful what you ask for, because you might get it"...
