It looks to me like Ukraine would have done better with an actor, than they previous did with corrupt leaders. In regard to the torture, if true, of course it's a horrible display of human nature. I believe the President put out the word immediately following it that troops were to be treated IAW the Geneva convention. Did he respond to a question in an appropriate manner? I try to imagine what it must be like for over a month to be bombed, see your country being destroyed and hope it can survive against one of the biggest armies in the world. Imagine trying to keep your troops and the coalition motivated to fight such a destructive force. He stayed, he chose to remain in the Capital when practically every expert predicted Kyiv would fall in three to five days. I say that took courage. On the other hand, Putin sends 18 year old grossly under-trained troops to fight and die for his ego and to build his wealth. Has Putin put out the word to stop the genocide, rape, murder and torture Russian troops perform on a daily basis? Being fixated on one Ukrainian atrocious act, while literally a thousand a day are occurring from the Russian side, is not balanced.
