The rule of law.... actually requires that it is OFFICIALDOM who are constrained to comply with the rules...? There is nothing I'm aware of in the Canadian, or any western legal tradition... that justifies administratively removing the right of any person to earn a living, to spend money, to eat... as Trudeau and his jack booted thugs have done to innocent Canadians...and, as being done WITHOUT due process... means WITHOUT law... ??? The OFFICALS are who is LAWLESS... As you hand wave past it... "making up law as you go" in order to meet the need in a specific situation... is also not "law"... but the definition of tyranny... And still, no part of that... has anything at all to do with what "the argument made" is ? The opinions people have... are NOT the point, ever... while making them the point... is the criminal act. The most dangerous element apparent on the left today... is that fallacy that since you have convinced yourself you are right... it justifies you in doing whatever you want to those "others" you deem wrong... The discrimination thus wrongly enabled... is not any different than that used historically in North America, to intern Japanese, lynch blacks, kill Chinese immigrants, or abuse Indigenous children... all which share the EXACT same myopia... in justifying the abuses meted out to "others"... who are different... And, as earlier in the "coefficient of fiction" argument... it is not any different than "the same thing" applied in Cambodia, or the French Revolution... That you advocate for and justify abusing those people you disagree with... but are not (yet) advocating killing the protestors... is as I noted... not a difference in the logic applied... but only in the vagaries of whim or fetish in the cruelty you have selected to impose... as not having attached to the "logic" in that exact way (yet)... It doesn't matter whether the protestors are "right" about their arguments or not ? Totally irrelevant... Free people have the right to be wrong. And, often, it turns out... they're not the ones who are wrong. That's the POINT of having free speech... is there IS NOT TO BE ANY judgement made about the correctness of speech... in relation to allowing it or not ? The bigots on the Canadian left wandering into enabling extra-judicial punishment for "thought crimes" ??? It's only a matter of time before they start murdering people they disagree with... in order to "protect society". That protestors might have violated laws in the process of protesting... is not exactly unique ? And, it doesn't create any emergency... or justify exercise of any "extraordinary powers"... when ordinary things occur... like people disagreeing with you when you're being stupid. There are eco-terrorists out there... who engage in trespassing... and vandalizing others property... even killing loggers by spiking trees ? And, yet... you have never seen anyone suggesting its reasonable that anyone who is associated with supporting those activist groups who enable that behavior... any who join their group or express support for their ideas... and any who contribute to support their cause in expressing its ideas... should, on the basis of administrative action rather than legal process... lose access to the use of banking and credit, lose their jobs... lose their drivers licenses.. etc.? Why shouldn't the right winning the next election in the U.S. mean... that everyone who has ever donated to a left wing politi8cal cause... should have all their bank accounts closed and their credit cards cancelled... be denied employment... and driver's licenses ? As it has been done now... there's nothing wrong with that... other than it being a different group of people who end up being unhappy when their opinions end up putting them on the wrong side of it ? Because... that's just fucking insane... as well as very clearly being something not capable of being justified under any western legal tradition... It would be illegal... and, exactly as it is in the Canadian's implementation... a profound and disturbing violation of basic human rights... It reveals "character flaws"... in those who willing to support it... as they clearly are unable to balance the existence of themselves as individuals...within a reality in which other equally valid individuals also exist... who have a full, equal and unfettered right to disagree with you... and yet are equally as empowered in expression... AND LEGALLY PROTECTED... in their expression... just as you are ? Its insane for anyone to think that its OK to do that to anyone... because you don't like their ideas or opinions. Communism... is that brand of insanity formalized in a bureaucracy... Left wing tyranny... always abuses individuals that way... as it is incapable of accepting valid criticism ? Left wing ideology... appears to induce or amplify that specific mental illness in those who struggle with and are unable to cope with the reality... that people are different... and think differently... and that's OK ? So, maybe it boils down to... left wing ideology functions as a formalized bureaucratic justification of narcissism ? Why People Who Are Unable To Take Criticism Will Not Succeed seems it is one of those things that is clearly true of individuals, as individuals... but is also only more true in aggregation of the concept as it is seen (or not) enabling the performance of organizations ? Not shockingly... that defines our political landscape today... The left can't tolerate criticism... and the more correct the criticism is... the less tolerant of it they will prove to be... If you speak the truth... about some evil they have done... you will be banned from speaking... The proof it is the protestors who are right... is inherent in the left's response to them...

As I have pointed out to you before, Western democracies have a tradition of free speech and being able to complain about thier government if they are not happy. That has been part and parcel of our tradition of government since forever. With corruption, which seems to be more rife then ever in our political systems, that slight advantage is vanishing with the likes of Klaus Schwab and his underling Justin Trudeau goose stepping to his commands at the WEF. Here is some history of protest movements within our democratic systems of government. It applies to both a Democracy and a Republic like the USA. i.e. women would not have got the vote in Britain at least without the ability to protest against the current government policy at the time. In Emmeline Pankhursts case there was some degree of violence and damage to property involved too. How would Trudeau and his side kicks use their "box of tools" to deal with an upstart like Emily Pankhurst ? Frankly I find an attitude where a political opponent is "cancelled" financially because of their political views appalling. "Insurrection" is a word that needs to reserved for individuals who have threatened to hang Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the street if he dares make peace with the Russians, rather then Truckers protesting the utterly stupid Covid Rules that do no good at all, and will bankrupt and starve us all if not contained. I wonder what would happen to the price of Oil and Gas if peace broke out in Ukraine? I dont think that is in the plan though, likewise Covid restrictions.
