True, also true Putin never faces questions from a difficult press corp, out of fear of persecution. Imagine what a bumbling fool he would look like if the international press were free to engage as western politicians are accustomed to? I suspect behind the facade is a very insecure human being. No one saw the shakeup coming in the former USSR until it happened. The world would breath a big sigh of relief and joy if this latest tyrant were taken to Siberia to live out his remaining days.
