Alex, please excuse my ignorance on this subject of Islamic governments in the Middle East. Are you saying that Iraq is not an Islamic country? And doesn't the Middle East already contain an economically and militarily untouchable axis of anti-Western sentiment? My own personal opinion of the Middle East is that until the Palestinians are treated fairly, and we stop supporting the Israelis in everything except the goal of living peacefully together and giving back some of the territories they have taken, there will be no peace. Saddam is definitely a madman, but we have been hated in the Middle East since we became such a staunch ally of Israel.
