manufacturer marks on the part.


I agree, that is why i said it is a relative term and certainly subjective.

But I'll tell you,IMO the CYRX chip was more than an aggressive product it was a poor product b/c even with the added HEAT sink and fan design, it still ran too hot and exhibited problems. This also shortens the life of the chip, although it would probably not occur until it is out of warranty.<g>

This overclocking by cyrx is what got others thinking about INTEL chips and that is how the asians discovered that remarking the Pentiums allowed them to sell the chips for much higher prices without anyone being aware.
