Barry, utilities was one of the areas that made me suspicious of the accounting firms forever. Remember back in the early 1970s when they were allowed to call "funds used in construction" earnings? Man, whose idea was that? How about funds I use to buy gasoline as extra income for me? Without the few brave folks who looked behind the numbers presented and saw the scam a brewin', and I was not one of them yet, that flim-flam might still be going on. MB
