I think you’re right. We have oversized and overly powerful ruling classes who live in a world of their own. Holding the general public in high regard - that’s exactly the thing they’re missing. Enjoying power too much. I also have a sense that Curtis Sliwa would have made a good Mayor - because he does have respect for regular people.
