It's political science dept has always been regarded as one of the best in the nation. It was the home, after all of Leo Strauss for many years. I doubt they want to mess very much with the reputation they have built by getting rid of one of the best they have left. But Mearsheimer himself says he is getting a ;lot of flack these days and finds it remarkable that we have come down to this. .
