"Is that how pitiful we've become? Surrender without firing a shot?" Well we did kind of provoke matters, and over the last few thousand years this has happened lots of times. And most important it isn't about "we" it is about them, and I can attest the Ukrainian government is as corrupt as the Russian. I don't see Russia turning into North Korea.

Allow me to edit that, since the others are all paying very close attention to the responses: Imagine a future in which (please insert rogue country of choice) KNOWS it can threaten using its nukes and get anything it desires.... i.e. Imagine a future in which China KNOWS it can threaten using its nukes and get anything it desires.... Imagine a future in which Iran KNOWS it can threaten using its nukes and get anything it desires....
