The names Victoria Nuland and Jake Sullivan come to mind. Also The Big Guy, who I've always assumed was Obama. Valerie Jarrett, Hillary, Cheney.....names abound if one is looking for the why of it.

Haim, you share that fantasy about Russian fantasies with many warmongers. As to Ukraine - the whole war is basically based on the fantasies of a relative small group of Russians of various ethnic upbringing, that want to build by force an empire to rival the free world based on very ultra-nationalistic fascist ideology of being superior to others. Nobody, including Russians, think that 140 million relatively poor people spread over a continent can or should by force build an empire to rival billions of "free world" /sarc people, based on ultranationalist fascist ideology of racial or cultural or intellectual superiority or whatever superiority you imagine. To understand why Russia has done what they have done, it's better to listen to and read their words, know some history such as Barbarossa, Charge of the Light Brigade, 1812 Overture, Genghis Khan, the Kaiser. Think what you would do in their situation = not if you were you, but if you were them. Listening to Fake News and the disbanded Office of Disinformation will not help you. Most people get their opinions and ideas ready-made from TV, newspapers, Leftoid plantations. Good for Israel being neutral. One sensible country of few. Mqurice
