My thinking on this is simple. If the Russians see that they’re clearly losing, they’ll go to tactical (small) nuke weapons. From there, it’s anyone’s guess what happens next. So, yeah, I’d like them to win quickly - and go to the deal making stage. The issue is that both the extremists surrounding PrezZ and NATO are stuck on the idea of fighting Russia to the last Ukrainian. Zelensky wanted to negotiate real peace after the first week. But, looks like their decision making process involves folks that normally should not have much say or veto power or whatever.
