Dear Shalom,
I am not saying it is not murder I am saying it is a unique type of sin. My point is blowing up young girls with the baby and killing Doctors is not a representation of the truth of God in any form. When we let our emotions go rampant and throw love out the window because of others sin we will do horrendous and ignorant acts like these.

More abortions are stopped by the support of Churches for the girls than protestors and bombs. To me our focus is on getting the gospel out period. If we stay focussed on that all these sins will disappear. The current results on abortions are increased here and in other countrys.

There are no available records of numbers of illegal abortions before it was legal so we can not judge the increase or decrease because of the laws. I respect your views but prefer to stay active giving the gospel to as many as I can and sharing the truth with grace if necessary when this issue comes up. I personally don't feel led to tell a girl that she is the same as Hitler or any murderer, that I feel would sound crazy. I would tell her that Jesus loves her and the child and will provide for them and love them every step of the way and He will not forsake them or leave them etc... Encouragement not condemnation.

The child is part of our own flesh at the moment of conception and is a person but even more a real part of ourselves so in some ways to me it is worse than murdering another person and adds an act of crime against yourself and the father of the child. Again I am only saying that it is the approach and attitude that is not loving and supportive that concerns me. Most of the people getting abortions are probably not believers and expecting them to accept those standards without first accepting the Lord is an unrealistic approach filled with emotions not love.

It is good to hear from you, Nancy
