BTW, yesterday was the first day that folks in HK can report if they had caught the bug without worry of quarantine, and guess what … drum roll … over 1M forks jammed the communication networks and fessed-up :0)))))

Let us see what the next few days reveal.

Given the various localized studies and guesses, it it possible that the following guess-set is true, that …

(1) Omicron is mildest relative to all earlier variants and the original strain
(2) Vaccine might do some good, to prevent and / or to lessen severity on infection
(3) Deactivated virus vaccine more effective than mRNA (in HK would be BioNTech-Fosun, which is the same as BioNTech-Pfizer)
(4) Virus is seasonal
(5) Masking does some good, at the margin, especially as it prevents own hands touching own eyes
(6) Vaxx high-risk folks advisable

I am guessing the true infection rate north of 3M out of population that is 7M, at 80-88% vaccination rate (1st dose @ 88, two doses @ 80+
