Ron, interesting story about the Gig Ethernet standards delay. Although the solution has already been selected (according to the article), it seems to me that MRVC would be in a great position to make further improvements in this area. After all, they originally were strictly a laser diode and fiber optic company, and still have expertise in that area - which other networking companies may lack.

Ron, 3Com just put out a news a couple days ago pledging that their GE will work with any future standard. Bay announced a couple months ago that their GE is on schedule and will be deployed in March. So I think the battle field will start to get hot this coming March ahead of the GE standard. Mike.
