First, I bought STRR more than a year ago when I thought their earnings were turning up, but that didn't happen and the stock has continued down. It is one of my biggest losers. It does look like it might be forming a new bottom but be sure you get a good buy signal. I also bought CCLP and MMLP a year or more ago. CCLP was initially up but not now and I am losing money on it -- not a lot but it is in the red. I continue to think it will turn up. MMLP has been making a pretty good move and I have a big gain. It might be too late to buy this one. I2 and I are looking at it carefully to determine if we need to sell. It might just need a period of correction to this big move and then to the sky, but we don't want to lose our profit and then it take a long time to recover. If I were you and wanted to buy it, I think I would at least be looking for a significant pullback. One other thing. MMLP and CCLP are both Limited Partnership companies. I've just learned that Limited Partnerships are companies that are set up in a why that they don't pay taxes on their earnings, but instead pass the profits on to the partners (shareholders) in other ways than dividends although they may pay dividends as well. The extra record keeping for the shareholder can get complicated. MMLP first reported earnings this past year and I had a hard time figuring out how to enter the required data in TurboTax which will supposedly create the records/forms that will be needed. (Downloading my information from ETrade into TurboTax did not automatically take care of this.) This didn't affect my 2021 taxes but will affect how I report my earnings when I sell the stock. This is my understanding, but I could be wrong. Robert Furman could probably give us more explanation. Anyway, I've decided that in the future, I will try to only buy Limited Partnerships in my IRA accounts. The fact that earnings in an IRA are not taxable means that I shouldn't have to report all of this. Happy Trades to You. WEagle
