No, there was news... I only posted it on the 16th... but was dated the 11th... which is where the move higher began ? With other news following...

It seems its been slow filtering out... perhaps...

Maybe other impact in what I noted about the NFGC exploration effort in my recent posting...

The "error" in how they've laid out the holes drilled in a grid composed of all parallel lines...

Perhaps is not an error... but an effort made in enabling a deliberate understatement... or, at least, sustaining a deliberately larger degree in uncertainty... than a properly designed effort would allow ?

There's Occam to consider... but, also, the balance between... "do these guys know what they're doing"... and "or not"... while also considering where the advantage lies in the difference between straining against the straps while pulling a heavy load... and looking like you are while not really pulling all that hard and letting others do the bulk of the work... Or, not needing to pull that hard... to move the load down hill... ?

Consider relative value in Newfoundland versus other gold camps... and Newfoundland issues are clearly under-performing since "the event" ? Short term value in eye popping numbers in a hole drilled... at one angle versus another angle ? Intersecting a meter... or dozens of them ? And, longer term value in a properly modeled resource... with a view in a specific enough resolution that it enables proper valuation and planning for mining it ?

A lot depends on "what you know"... that allows you to correlate one bit of information with the mass.

So, a hole 100 meters away from the last one... that crosses a meter of high grade... Did it add a meter of high grade... or 100 meters of high grade ? Re-read the latest PR with that in mind... and note the discussion of the "convergence" occurring in sewing the pearls together into a continuous string ?

I don't think they have a need or any obligation to work at being more obvious ?

There are some spectacular finds being made in B.C., in places miles from the nearest road... and its worth noting them... and trading them...

And, there are similar things being found but largely ignored in Newfoundland, now... not just at NFGC... in holes drilled from a road passing underneath the power lines...?

No one pays any attention to that being "different" ?

Odds are pretty good that some of what's being found in Newfoundland today... will be mined out before the finds in B.C. move beyond sustaining the annual effort in adding a few holes that keep growing an still exciting exploration potential...
