The '55 was gorgeous. I remember hearing about distributor shields and the chrome one is nice. My only mark against the car is that transmission. I hate 2-speeds. The car that made my heart jump was the Firehawk. I love Firebirds. Had a yellow convertible '67 326 with the 2-speed. That trans went around 50 k before it died. I think it was worse that the early CVTs which I also hate. bringatrailer.com I'm underwater with my COHU and bought it in the 29 area. I don't have a lot and I bought it for my taxable (non-trading) account and will add to it if it gets sacked on earnings night. I've been distracted from the market too and only traded a few shares of gold and silver stocks. Gold touched $2,000 and of course had to back away.
