His video "blaming" the Daily Beast was meant to show their hypocrisy in blaming everything and everyone Russian for what some Russians were alleged to have done. He was being intentionally absurd to demonstrate their absurd logic. He was rightly questioning highly promoted alleged war crimes - as opposed to NYT verified "beyond question source" actual war crimes done to Russian POWs on camera.

He was pointing out the absurdity of Nationalist Guilt - kind of like White Guilt - or the worst guilt of all - White Nationalist Guilt (which only applies to Trump supporters, FFS.) Carried forward to the end result and you get neo-NAZIs / AntiFa coming to your door with a gun. Surrender is not met with any sympathy - you are guilty because of what your perceived compatriots have done.

In Lira's case, it doesn't matter to the reporter at the Daily Beast that he's a dating coach from Chile, or whatever it was they made him out to be to try to denigrate him. It's just that he held an opinion that wasn't hateful except to the ideology that they in the Fake News agitprop industry are participating in - the "Empire of Lies".

Whenever Gonzalo found out he was using wrong information, he'd correct it. When he was speculating, he made lots of notes to make sure everyone knew it. He had an opinion on a couple of false flag possibilities, but so did a few others with even better info, so he gave an assessment using the information that seemed the most truthful to him. Differed 180 degrees from the professional media, but had more credibility, IMO, so for that, he was a "dissenter". Same thing as a spy to the "silencers", who've taken cancel culture to a new level.

Here's a funny one from GL. Reminds me of Blazing Saddles. He has plenty of pre-war opinions such that he could easily post here on any Libertarian / Conservative topic. Analysis and news sorted for truthfulness, with hypocrisy always in mind as a self-check. (BTW, he's got a lot of German heritage and has lived in Germany, so his comment below is partly tongue in cheek. Probably would get a tongue lashing from Lindy until he reached Mq status of known hyperbole.)

Here's a sad one. Guess they don't always use guns.
