GV - is my understanding of patents true??? I believe that the patent office will attempt to ensure a patents claims are factual and unique - but the mere issuance of a patent number does not, in and of itself, ensure or absolve a company from possible/potential patent infringement suits. And if HVSFD were to be sued (on merit or not), do you (or anyone else) believe that HVSFD has the legal or financial backing to fight it in court???

Cost of litigation aside - the time delay in proceeding with trials while even a frivolous suit ran through the court dockets would be disasterous to the company's financial well being - delaying further any possible marketing of a final product.

And if such a suit were brought against HVSFD - would any large suitor company in it right mind want to "partner" with them???

Also - wasn't Tom Waite and Assoc involved in a lawsuit against the company at 1 time in the past??? Seems to me I remember reading an SEC filing (Qtrly report or something) that made mention of such a suit.
Am I wrong or is this true??? If it is true - does anyone know the outcome of the lawsuit????

Thanks
