our current crop of thieves Maybe there are simply too many skeletons in Ukraine for it to be left intact? Most of our "Oligarchy" is implicated in corruption in Ukraine (and elsewhere for that matter) and it's not a stretch to think the EU "elites" are as dirty as our own. Unless you....generously IMO....grant that the last couple of years (and more) are due to incompetence, they've already proven that they are willing to sacrifice lives....entire social classes of people (Kulaks?) they consider beneath them or resistant to their ideas for "change", to achieve their goals. Why not burn down an entire country, especially if it only impacts the Peons? Of course now the match heads have nuclear tips.
