Looks like positive news,

I like coffee myself.

I like the beans as a storage mechanism. Reasonably airtight comtainer and whole beans store fresh for a long time.

I don't mind the exercise of grinding up the beans and making fresh coffee.

The beans took the time and trouble to grow, least I can do is bless all that good work and add a little of my own. Even if it is an electric grinder.

Actual beans are harder to come by these days. Lidl and Aldi used to comply but offer less for whatever reason in a lot of stores these days. There used to be good choice of quality beans, at bargain basement prices too.

Going back to an earlier post of yours and "the West"

<<All seems quite Cultural Revolution-esque, observing as one who knows cultural revolutions>>

Please keep us posted on these observations, I think I fail to notice this type of thing.

China has seen such huge changes over the decades and must have gained immense experience and skill in dealing with logistics and control, matching the technology changes for a large domestic population. Something the USA was famous for... logistics and control.

So I can imagine these type of resources are interacting and learning about Covid, and there is inertia involved that needs handling carefully. A bit like a heavily laden vessel negotiating a change in direction.
