I'm going to defer to Q...he is the expert and who taught me what I know. I'm very much a student of this, but it's the most accurate trading model I've ever seen. It dovetails with my system perfectly as well, so it's a priority for me to master as much of it as possible. Q can explain it with his eyes closed, lol

I could be totally wrong but my understanding is the x to A is the "sample" high to low or low to high being measured. All high/lows or low/highs get "tested". Then, if the next move (low to high or high to low) meets the requirements of the fibs, it generates the ABC pattern to watch for (crab, bat etc). At that point, you're just waiting for the RSI trigger at the correct completion point range.
