You threw a ray of darkness in the darkness. I agree, I do NOT think the market and investors/speculators are really reacting to the interest rate environment. I don't think people believe that it is actually going to happen. Very strange.

We're still at record high margin debt... The FED claims to be tightening although they were recently caught lying, their balance sheet has actually increase by more than $55 billion in the past 6 weeks, and still these markets are falling... Something bigger than we know is going on behind the scenes, all we can do is take advantage of the market action... So, I've been short, I covered mid week and went long but reinstated the short side very soon thereafter, I see no buy signal yet in sight... I'm not even playing the VP signals because the downward momentum is too great to expect much of a rally... We'll surely have a rally and probably a very big one, but I'm not trying to guess where it begins, the risk at this point is too great... GZ
