no just that the spreads on the triple etf options can be onerous.

The options work in a strong directional trend. You just don't want them to bleed in a sideways trend.

Futures have 3 advantages over options on indexes.

Futures are taxed at 60% long term and 40% ordinary income tax rate. Options are 100% ordinary income.

Futures spreads are much tighter than options

Futures have no time price decay.

There is no SOX future<G>
