That's besides the point. Taxes are always a thorny issue but nothing is black and white. Raise taxes revenue drops, lower them revenues rise. If only life and economics were that simple. Look at Elon Musk for example. He left Cali over taxes and regs - don't blame him for leaving. Though he doesn't want EV tax incentives touched and prolly also doesn't want to live next to one of Texas' many oil refineries. Hmmm I love the smell of a crude oil cracker in the morning.
