War and Peace as a Social Contract: Normal vs perverse incentive paradigm. Volition vs Totalitarianism I spent this morning trying to define victory - from our point of view Normal Paradigm: Threat perceived to both parties in the Contract. Goal is Peace and Prosperity - Major goal (peace) is shared, Minor goal (prosperity) is shared, but unequally distributed - flows from Party One to Party Two as negotiated terms of the Contract. Parties to the Contract: Party One: We (the citizens), Party Two: The GI Complex (Government - Industrial) Present Incentives are shared equally between the Parties for the Major Goal; Peace is freely available and maintained, Future Incentives are not shared equally between the Parties for the Minor Goal. This is the reason for the Contract. There's a time balance between expectations of Work and Payment and Risk. Contract Goal for Party One, the Client, is future maintenance of Peace, paid with Prosperity. Contract Promise by Party Two, the Contractor, is future maintenance of Peace, delivery upon payments received or owing. The Government Industrial Bill to be paid in return for the promise. Expectations vary, but both Parties expect a fruitful future contractual relationship and want the same thing. Perverse Paradigm: Threat perceived to one party in the Contract. Implied Goal is Peace and Prosperity. Party Two has reduced threat to themselves to such an extent that it is driving a deeper goal for some that they won't state. That goal is Proxy War and Prosperity. Parties to the Contract: Party One: We (the citizens), Party Two: The entrenched GI Complex (Government - Industrial; The Deep State) Present Incentives are NOT shared equally between the Parties for the Major Goal; Peace is freely available (within the Contracted scope of operation), but due to proxy threat, it is available as a cudgel to use on Party One by Party Two at any moment. Future Incentives are not shared equally between the Parties for the Minor Goal, as agreed. However in this case, the Contract is a sham - Party Two can control the flow of the Minor Goal, Prosperity. Deep State has taken control of the future of the Major Goal to such an extent that it can be used as a regulating valve to control flow of prosperity. Deep State has taken control of future Contract negotiations as well - election control. Contract Goal for Party One, the Client, remains unchanged: it is future maintenance of Peace, within the scope of the country's boundaries, paid with Prosperity, with understood negotiated agreements on widening of scope if necessary. Contract Promise by Party Two, the Contractor, is no guarantee of any result. Everything is in flux, due to third party proxy. Promise becomes propaganda. Scope of operations becomes unlimited. The Government Industrial Bill turns into a debt that is never paid. Debt Slaves to the Deep State - whoever that is pulling the totalitarian control strings that make the Contract a sham. Expectations vary - both Parties don't want the same thing - some know it, some don't. Some in Party Two perversely want controlled War by proxy that can be blamed on a third party. That gives them control of the contract incentives and scope of operations and relieves them of any promised responsibility. It causes a perverse incentive to keep truth hidden behind propaganda. Deep down they’re more practical. Cognizant of possibilities. They’ve seen sht happen. The Deep State. Cognizant of possibilities. They've caused sht to happen. Of course, there's always unthinking hatred or fear. That always makes things perverse. Propaganda tools.
