I'll check out the spinach this weekend as well.

I got the eggs at Costco today. They were nearly 30% cheaper than the grocery store, so that was good. Thanks for the heads up!

I passed on the spinach, as it was a 3-lb. bag, which is a bit much for us to use up in a short time. We usually buy 1-lb. at a time.

I agree about Costco quality.. everything of quality.

The egg thing. In Albania. My fresh eggs came ten to a carton. Each egg had a date stamp.
Albanian eggs are thick shelled, very uniform in size & color. It takes a 'whack' to crack one.
For quality, there are no comparisons in taste.. it is just that good to eat.
I've been in Albania until just recently, this time 2mos.. last year 1 month. For the enjoyment of food,
my experience has been extremely positive.. fresh local produce markets & bakery goods, and some
of the best restaurants I have ever enjoyed.

Being overseas, I usually look at the CDC Centers for Disease Control & Prevention website for
travel information. There's a by- country breakdown on the 'good' & the 'bad'
wwwnc.cdc.gov

I'm thinking paranoia. I should have stayed stateside, safely consuming GMO grains/ vegetables & fruits,
chlorinated bloody- boned chicken, concrete raised pigs, and hormonal enhanced beef.
I don't think there is any consumer benefit other than a reduced cost.
