Joachim, Without the slaughter of a few billion people, the world cannot sustain a green global economy. That's not necessary. Current projections of world population seem to level off at just under 11 billion: World Population Projections - Worldometer (worldometers.info) I personally think that our planet can easily support that many people, albeit with lifestyles that may or may not match what we enjoy today.
