Seren and Dieter:

Obviously, I have no new news to add to the NOVL thread at this time. I've gone back and read, and listened to Schmidt's earlier interviews to get a better feel for the man and his vision. He sounds solid, I catch glimpses of feedback on NOVL from networking specialists, I look at the fundamentals, I read many articles, and then I let the darn thing incubate for a while. We're all just waiting for some eggs to hatch, and over time they should. Seren, right, turnarounds can take a number of years, even Schmidt mentioned 2-3 years before Novell turns the corner. I believe the quick money didn't like those words. Oh well, the tortoise keeps plugging along and will soon make it across that hot desert bearing gifts to those who are patient.

In this for the ride during 1998.

By the way, I've heard people mention that recent volume and share price move of NOVL is due to Netscape rumors. That would be nice, but its already last weeks news. I would just hope its buying on fundamentals more than anything else. NOVL needs to continue building a very strong base of shareholders, thats what I want to see.

Regards,

Quad-K
