I don’t like Obama. And as for his oratory skills - every sound he makes is filled with condescension. Not to mention the doubtful veracity of his verbosity.

Khruschev did something amazing - which likely contributed to the ultimate demise of the USSR. He made jokes about the head of government safe again. There were thousands of jokes about Khrushchev.

Not to many years previously, any silly joke about Stalin could buy you 10 years of hard labor or worse. That’s how, I seem to recall, Solzhenitsyn got his 10 years in the Gulags.
